We are looking for an ambitious hardware developer, with knowledge within software, mechanics and production setup, who can be the product care owner for our biggest customer’s products. The product line consists of 16 products, and more to come, within the HVAC industry. Your main task is to improve the products for our customer. We need you to thrive for quality and cost efficiency and you shall know how your recommended changes affect the entire supply chain from production to end consumer together with cost, risk and workload.
Your responsibility will be to identify, implement and follow up on improvements mainly within the hardware and mechanics. You work close with the customer and are responsible for debug incoming RMA’s and handle guarantee issues, improve quality and lower the cost. Therefore, you also need an understanding for software and other related areas. You shall increase the yield and lower the production cost, or solve any other possibility that you or the customer might come up with as an improvement in our quarterly steering meetings. Your input is crucial. You work close with the Purchase Assistant and Supply Chain Manager (SCM), who also works solely with this customer. You report to the SCM.
You shall have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree with a major in a relevant area. You have a few years of experience in hardware and mechanics development. Knowledge within the areas of radio technology, certifications (UL, etc) within different markets and knowledge in C programming it is an advantage.
In order to succeed in this role you must be able to work in a structural and methodical manner and be precise with details. You are social and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. LumenRadio is an international company and you therefore need to speak and write English fluently.
